Interesting prospect that I came across.
http://www.doghousesystems.com/v/home.htmEssentially gives you an option of three packages to pick from MMO focussed entry level, mid range and Crysis rig. I figured it was a nice thing for people like me who have a limited knowledge of PC hardware.
Its currently only US delivery but Canada is in the works and if you are not in either of those countries you can email them to sort something out. The reason for posting this is to try and get your much more enlightened opinions on their services CSDL.

Oh, there's loads of companies like this, Alienware is one of the most well known. They do build attractive PCs but they're all hideously overpriced.

So their not merely cutting corners and giving you a product that is optimized for the game experience that you want for a slightly increased price. So if I was to build a PC bit by bit would it be cheaper?

A lot cheaper, with these even in the best case you have to pay more for the labour and their warranty. In the worst case they tie you in with insurance and bundled software you don't want/need like a new copy of Windows or antiviral software etc. but have to pay for seeming they're building it for you.

Tis a hassle to get all the right parts.
So, if you have a extra thousand, go crazy.

It just seemed like a very simple way to shop.
Are you a MMO enthusiast, a average gamer or someone who wants the ultimate performance for all their games.
I guess I just liked the marketing and ignored the prices. I also like the chassis.

Look at the stuff they put in their computers, then go to newegg.com and look at how much it costs there.
Much munnies will be saved.

Sites like those do have their own little perks about them, but is it worth the extra cash? Probably not, and most likely they'd rip you off with some sort of antivirus like El was saying or malware like Dell

What is funny is you can build a computer exactly like that, for half the price. Hell you can even get the same case.

It's not exactly rocket science either.
