I got this black nano with 4GB loads of shit. Now the problem is it just stopped working correctly and popping a screen that says 'Use iTunes to restore'. Thats what i do. And then im getting this progress bar. And after that when the job is done, im getting a itunes popup wich is telling me that the ipod has been restored. AND it also tells me after 10seconds the popup will close. And iTunes will refresh and i should see my ipod screen getting up in the itunes windows. Wich is what i dont get.
Anyone knows some helpful help ? D: !

Ipods are way better then any other mp3 player. Try restoring it again, or you could try unplugging it after it restores and then plugging it back in and see if Itunes recognizes it

I have 3 ipod nano's and 1 video. I never had that problem until this black nano.

That is what i own, never had one problem with it and owned it for a few years now.

It has been dropped, stomped on kicked, gone though woodtech for the past few weeks everyday, gone though welding with me everyday for the past few weeks.

Works perfectly.

I like iPod. It's not like any of them are really all that different anyway.

I'd like to report a problem with the Zen Guns - it only has 14 hours battery life and 60GB space.

4GB nano for somewhere around 3 or 4 years now and I haven't had any problems either.

It is 17 hours of bat life.

But it also has a

FM radio, high resolution screen, clock, planner, calendar, phonebook/contacts, ect.

Like a 1 hour correction from 16 to 17 makes even a dent in the up to 40 hours that the new iPods possess. Oh, and they have all those features available too.

So yeah, quit bashing iPods.

Wait. Don't all iPods have that? Don't know about the high-res screen though.

As far as I know you need a $40 or some ridiculous price for an adapter for FM radio on the iPod, and the largest screen on them is the 640x480 on a 2.5 inch screen on the iPod Classic.

What's more 'ridiculous':

- Paying £20 for an FM attachment to go into a £150 player.

- Or paying £250 for a (worse) player but having it built in?

Screen size/res on the Zen Vision whatever and iPod are the same.

Don't change the fact ipod is a shitty product and the support is even worse.

And the zen is any better? every time ive heard stories about ipods needing new batteries or needing to be replaced they've all been fairly positive.

Support for mac products is fucking clutch. It costs but they do a first class job. Mac is trendy as fuck, but they're good at what they do and are marketing it very well. Ipod is going to be one of the most famous trends/trademarks of our generation. This is coming from someone who personally dislikes mac as well. Also I've had a 5th gen (first 30 gig with video) ipod for almost 3 years and no problems at all with it.

Unfortunately, the only thing i fucking hate is the mac ads, they stereotype PC users horribly.

i used to HATE ipods, just becuase of the apple name association thing, then one day at the mall while playing a game (trying to get to the back of the apple store and back out without anyone talking to you) i fell in love with a touch and that was that. i lost miserably btw..

The angle they use is dreadful. However Macs are getting some love form people over here because I think there are some deals that go down that make them cheaper.

They're just... The worst. iPods are nice though and I think the iPhone is pretty spiffy. I can see how MacBooks are useful to people of past generations who are still getting the hang of word processing but they're just not worth the frustration for halfway tech-savvy people. Maybe the biggest reason I hate Macs is that their fanbase is full of annoying tech-tards who refuse to switch to a commonly acknowledged better alternative because they don't know what the "start" button is. OK dude if you want help fixing it take advice from a girl....so listen up. Try restoring your Ipod, then restarting your computer. If this doesn't work, try restoring on a friends computer then reconnect to your own. Also try resetting your Ipod as it often just internally freezes. Have fun and good luck xoxo Kairi
