Alec, as most of you know by my Xfire name.

I wouldn't really want to change my name, seeming as it's kind of unique. I've only met one other person named Alec in my life. And then there's Alec Baldwin and Alec Guinness of course, both of whom I was named after. Funny story too, my name actually means Defender of Men, which I often find myself doing because women are whores.

As far as children, I really want kids when I'm older, but I haven't put any thought into names. I'll think about it when the time comes (when my future wife is in labor). Plus, I'm almost guaranteed to have all boys because it runs in my family. Grandfather had 4 boys + 1 girl, and my dad had 3 boys. If I have a daughter I might sacrifice her to the wilderness to bypass all the bullshit girls put their parents through.

I've been called "Beezer" in the past.

What's weird though, is that if I look at my own name, and think about how it sounds, it looks and sounds sort of strange, but if somebody else outside of my family has the last name Beesley it sounds perfectly normal, as if it's an entirely different word altogether. Like, I looked up "Beesley" on google and when I saw it in big bold letters it almost looked like a word I'd never seen before in my life.

It's like, I don't really think about my name all that often, I just know to respond to people who I know are asking for me when they say "Tom", so when I actually see it written out someplace where I know it doesn't have anything to do with me, it almost seems like the word doesn't mean anything at all. I mean I'm sure there has been a psychologist out there somewhere who has done some sort of research on this already, but for me I just sort of came to the epiphany.

Strange isn't it? How our minds work. (Either that or I'm just stark raving mad)

Another thing that's weird is that I saw a video a while ago that maybe would have triggered this train of thought now, about some guy saying that if you look into a mirror and just repeat your name to yourself long enough, your name starts to simply sound like a bunch of random syllables that don't make any sense whatsoever, and you start to look like a complete stranger. It takes a lot of concentration, but it's an interesting experience.

I do that all the time. If you say a certain word too many times, it sounds like gibberish. I've done it with all my family members' names as well, and I get confused sometimes when I see them. Lolz.

I don't know if I wish to change my name or perhaps add another name..Because few people actually call me by my real name. Most people call me "umbre" which means shadow in English. But it's totally different in romanian when you say it.

And about my children, if I'll have any in the future, which I think I will..If it's a girl I'll most possibly name her Amara. If it's a boy ..I'll name him Allen, I think. I'll have time to think over that.
