Why are you writing about this on a internet forum?

Because when you're an amateur at relationships you unconsciously feel the need to rub the status of it in everyone else's face, usually to try and get attention, respect, or sympathy if you're emo. It is a strange, animalistic phenomenon and most people are afflicted with it until they grow up and realise relationships are nothing special and nobody cares that you do/don't have a girlfriend/boyfriend or what you did/didn't do with them, they only pretend to try and be polite.

Personally, unless directly questioned or on the subject I strive to try and keep my personal life as far away from the internets as possible, to the point where even other people using eachother's real names grates me unless they know eachother (exception being Shaun, because I can't ever be bothered to type his username, it has no real shortform, and he constantly refers to himself as such). I love you all dearly, but without adhering to the unwritten boundaries of the internet we'll all be e-fucking eachother, presuming it hasn't started already amongst certain members.

Then again, it may just be my neurosis.
