Buy a pair of sweet kicks. Or save it. Or I'll continue to be like everyone else and say give it to me, I need groceries.

Save it, or invest in the stock market. (You can still make money in there as long as you're smart about what you're buying.)
Honestly though, if you have to ask what to do with money, you're better off just saving it. How do you think we all got into such a mess with the economy in the first place? Nobody wanted to just save their money, they had to spend it like it was burning a hole in their pocket.

buy something with a stable value, so you still have it if the economy crashes, something like gold or platinum or even titanium

The economy is not going to crash, its just going through a fairly big recession. It's strong enough to recover after a while and with a couple strategic reforms. Whether or not the politicians can get their heads out of their asses is the big question as of now, but this isn't a thread for political discussion. I'm just going to save it for a pc upgrade later on this year.

See this is why you're not an economist.
