I got an HP Pavilion dv9548us Notebook with an 8600M GS video card. the laptop just has a VGA port. i also have a 22inch widescreen LCD monitor which i want to hook up to my laptop. ill plug it in and ill hit funtion F4 and it will just show the bottom left portion of my desktop in the upper right hand corner of the external monitor. how do i fix this problem so i can play CS on an even more beautiful screen? all your help is greatly appreciated!

Try going to into your graphics cards control panel and fiddling with the options.

Go into the nvidia control panel and use the wizard and use dualview.
