Hi, everyone!
I downloaded a lot of skins and a few maps from this site. I had no problem installing skins, I just unzipped the files in cstrike folder and eventually followed instructions in the readme. And they work great.
The problem is with maps. I jus follow the same procedure, unzip in the correct folder and so on, but NONE of the downloaded maps is working correctly. Only few surfaces are displayed with the right textures, but the most are transparent, or black and pink, or with "ERROR" printings.
So I took a look at the console and noticed a whole bunch of errors (generated while the map was loading) of this type (I'll paste only one example for each error):
Error: Material "maps/cs_xcom/tile/tilefloor016a_-192_64_288" uses unknown shader "patch
Error Vertex File for 'props_lab/workspace003.mdl' not found
SOLID_VPHYSICS static prop with no vphysics model! (models/props_c17/fountain_01.mdl)
Some other errors appear after the map is loaded, while playing:
Failed to load sound "npc/crow/alert2.wav", file probably missing from disk/repository
So do I miss something? Do I have to download some other file? Please help, thanks!

The last error means you're missing files. Go to that location and see if it's there. If not, make sure you properly extracted it to the cstrike directory and click yes to overwrite.

3 things.
1) Last post date: Jun 9 2008, 05:40 PM
Your post date: Today, 01:37 PM
2) Make your own topic if you're having problems please
3) DETAIL YOUR TOPIC. Also write it properly. I didn't understand what yo said due to lack of full stops and occasional commas. I probably sound like your English teacher, but really - speaking properly seriously helps us to understand and help you.

3 things.
1) June 9th is only 5 days ago, so it's not a bump.
2) He shouldn't be making his own topic if it relates to the same problem.
3) He kind of was clear. He was saying some of .zip files he has for maps are incomplete and need bsb, nav, and readme files.
Don't be a jerk already. I did that a long time ago and it doesn't work out for you. Trust me.

Pwnt lol.
And he has a different issue to Golodh. Tmachot is saying the maps he downloaded are missing NAVs, whereas Golodh is discussing a possible faulty installation and missing vertex files and materials.
And I only managed to understand that by re-reading it about 3 times

OH NOES I ONLY LOOKED AT THE NUMBER ON THE DATE!!! LET'S ALL SCREAM "PWNEDDD!!1!1!!".........no. Such a sense of humor...
And the fact that he was still missing some sort of file means it's relevant.
