Do want. I've only played 2 and 3 though and even then it was when they were first released years ago when I was but a wee lad so I never really kept track of the story. I've got a lot of catching up to do, if I even can that is. This story seems as tangled as MGS.

I didn't think the first one was too bad when it first came out, as long as you keep in mind it obviously was made for braindead adolescents. Certainly one of the better game-film 'adaptations' (by that I mean, film that borrows game's name but has almost nothing in common with it) that's been made at least.

They weren't bad. They could of been way better, however they could of been way worse.

i am a big RE fan and i can't stand those films, should have stuck with the game story!!!

I only played RE3 and RE4 ,though I liked the third one more ,RE4 is a nice action game but no much horror in it .also I think the movies were pretty good ,it's better to have a somehow different story or else it will be like watching an old movie .anyway I'm looking forward to see RE5 ,by the way is it gonna be released for the PC ? Cause Last time I checked it wasn't.

Well RE 4 was originally GC only (its best form imo) but that soon changed.

PS2 version was better, bar the graphics.

I guess the Wii version would be the best then. It has all the PS2 features with GC+ graphics.

My friend mentioned how he burned the Japanese demo onto a disc and played it on his 360 and did say something about co-op and said I should get the demo and burn it to a disc and play co-op with him.

Ok, well the chainsaw guy took a lot of punishment before he finally fell. I recall them not being so tough in RE4, they were quicker on the attacks though. Several times in the video I was expecting the player to get the chainsaw gutsfuck. Other than the max hp guy, no problems were seen. I'm glad we don't have Ashley whining in our ears anymore.

I read the controls are a little clunky. I also read that they are just like RE4 which are very adaptable. Is the latter the case? If so the first one must be someone moaning about how they didn't update the movement much but RE4 was a fine game so I am not worried if this is the case.

yea re4 style all the way, just have to get use to the controller scheme then i will be fine with it!

Just finished playing through both levels. I'll definitely buy RE5, it's sweet. My only gripe about the game is that the mechanics showed so far seem recycled from RE4. Although, RE4 was awesome.
