Springfield Armory 1911A1 Tactical Custom + QUAD's anims Official Score » 8.5 Member's Score » 8.4 The old Colt 45 is no stranger to the desert eagle category, but this is no ordinary 45. This gun is a "modernized" m1911A1, with new sights, a "match" barrel, and a few other improvements. The model is what you would expect of something representing a colt and the custom parts are done well. The skin is fine, but the grip is undetailed and alot of the gun parts are mismatched, that might just be how the kit is, but I like color consistancy in the skins I use. The reflect and normal maps worked well on the gun. Quad's desert eagle animations are wonderful by themselves, but they help show off alot of the gun's custom parts during reload and draw that would otherwise be hidden by the hands. Sounds are great as well, and to top it off there are world models. This release is perfect for anyone who likes the Colt .45, but wants a more modern, tactical feel to it.
