M24 Official Score » 8.9 Member's Score » 9.1 Ocularis has tried to breath life into this old CS weapon. The model is still a little blocky though, although the Scout section really lacks new, hires models, so its not as big of a deal as it would be if it was a blocky AK or M4 model. Even though, the model doesn't really compare of the SL8 or new C3A1. The skin is pretty plain as well, although the reflect maps improve it a bit. Although the reflect maps are nice to have they seem to be a bit too strong and give off too much of a glossy effect. I personally like the M24 more as a scout replacement than the "Ultimate" Scout, although their quality it too similar to judge one over the other. It doesn't help having no world models for this either. I will stick with the C3A1 redux for now, but if your a fan of the M24 or don't like wood stocks, then give this gun a shot.
