The Tokarev is a little more pleasing on the eyes than the makarov, but it isn't a big improvement. The model is fine, but the skin is a I don't know if I can describe it correctly, blurry? The metal texture does look a little like metal, but the lack of a goof reflect map hurts it. The gun is practically all metal so I expected a little more ref/normal mapping. The animations are once again jennifers, I already described why I don't like them on small guns in the makarov review, but the same applies here, even though the tokarev is a little bit larger than the makarov, they still seem unfitting to me.
