Darkstorn AK + Hav0c's anims Official Score » 8.8 Member's Score » 9 Some of you may instantly recognise this AK model and skin, but for those of you who don't I'll tell you, Darkstorn's AK is one of the best out there, and delivers on all fronts with high quality world models and reflect maps, and some of the best use of normal mapping I've seen in a custom replacement. You may also of noticed that this this model uses some new animations by Hav0c, and although they are in at first glance better than Jen's, they have their low points, and unfortunately those low points happen to be the only faults in this release. The firing animations don't have quite as much recoil as they should for a beefy weapon like an AK, and when using single shots it is very obvious that there is a large delay between firing, and the recoil setting in. But I'm just nitpicking now, so I'll finish by saying that despite these little gripes it is still a very good and wholly satisfying release.
